words of wisdom

i adore conversations with father. the one we had on sunday was nothing short of hilarious. parents had gone to pondicherry on saturday and father messaged asking what i wanted from there. i replied bacardi breezer lime flavour. on sunday when they got back

father: 'dont let me catch you with a drink'.
me: i wont let u catch me with one. dont worry.
father: archana. (this is his serious tone now) i dont want you to drink the breezer.
me: i wont drink your breezer. tho, point to be noted, i am 22 i make my own money now. you think i cant buy my own drink?
father: i dont want you to drink.
me: i am 22. i make my own money now. you think i cant buy my own drink?

father left after that.

p.s: i dont drink. i dont see the point in it. im quite content dancing or worse comes to worse socialising. but father needs to learn its a free world. and he isnt the king.

lol. Those were indeed words of wisdom. For some reason, this reminds me of my friends conversations with his BIL.

this sounds like a conversation i might have with my dad. when i was 19, he refused to buy me a drink! little did he know my first drink was from his mug when i was 6 :P

Breezers actually dont qualify as alcohol. My father is quite cool with us drinking as long as he knows what it is and how much we've had.Cheers to Fathers!
