yesterday night was dublin's 5th anniversary celebrations. not that i give a shit either way, but Dj Aqueel was brought in specially from bombay to entertain us. as far as i saw it.. the music should have been a mix of desi(read overdose of bollywood) and hip hop. hence i even thought of going. but it wasnt quite what i expected. the dj didnt start playing till some 12 in the damn night. and when he did he talked and talked. and talked. he talked between tracks. he paused the mixing to talk. like what the facck man? of course to add to the misery he played the same bollywood numbers like a zillion times. and he made all the hip hop numbers(the songs i love) into ultra sad bollywood bhangra songs. and towards the end say about 2, we ended up listening to an overdose of crappy house music. and the price for 'enjoying' crap music and 'being entertained' men who cant dance two grand. sighhh im quite broke now as well.
and considering i slept at 3 and had to get up at 7 for work im quite awake.. thought i would have died off on the desk by now..

Wow! Thats 4 hours of sleep. Have u started teaching yet? Wont it be fun if you meet one of your students at a disc?

@ funnylifian: lol.. i teach (well from august 16th i will be anyway)so does tht make me seem even more grown up now?
@ok: i know 4 hours.. and over the week could not sleep atall so sat slept off at 12am and woken up on sunday at 1.30pm :PPP
i have no issues meeting anyone anywhr.. and teaching starts on 16th sugust,
lol, that DJ ought to be kicked off his job. A dj who talks indeed!
