well its officially been a year since i started blogging.. and i must say it has been very fruitful.. an eye opener in every sense of the word.. i have learnt more about myself.. others... learnt to introspect more and, more importantly learn't (the hard way at times..) that there is more than one perspective to life..
i was reading some of the articles and poems i had written over the year and i must say i have progressed from poems to articles to free writing.. ;), from emotional ranting(not completely!!) to a more rational and detatched thought process..
the whole year has been one hell of a roller coaster.. emotionally and otherwise.. and i have done pretty well for myself i must say... and for those who know me.. know that i write best when im in the midst of the emotion/trauma.. hence ..yeah there have been a lot of articles that are very emotionally charged... as i read it now i can look at it in a more detatched manner.. but i wont change a thing about it... it was written in the spur of the moment and its as honest as i can be..
i like to read comments about the blog.. no not praising the blog/ post, but comments that help me think more... help me realise that there is more than one way to look at 'anything' in life. constructive criticism is more than welcome.. it helps me grow... it has so far, so im sure it will help in the future also.
and finally i would like thank all those people who 'inspire' me to write these articles/ poems/ epics.. my friends, family, classmates, teachers, artists, authors... i guess without reacting, acting, reading and listening to the abovesaid i would not have this blog... so thank you one and all... and a special mention to thangu who got me to start blogging one year back... thank you love...

firstly...happy anniversary (if i can call it that! :).....
and yeah...sometimes i wonder why there is such a great need among humans to be heard /appreciated/criticised/acknowledged....i it is this need, i think, is what drives a lot of ppl towards blogging in the first place.
and it is the comments that we crave for.makes us feel a teeny weeny bit more important..that someone out there cares about what u think and/or looks forward to hearing from you.
Bloggin has filled up the space vacated by hand-written letters and memoirs/journals in our life. helps us to let out all that emotional stuff inside than let it accumulate.most of all,I think it is good for all of us that we get a channel thru which we can empty our hearts for the world to see.
anyways...love readin the stuff u write...keep postin :)
P.S.:Hows ur holidayin ? going to SAARANG for the shankar or parikrama shows?

for me blogging is more about connecting... with people who appreciate(or not) wat i have to say.... seriously its about perspectives and it has really helped me...
and i'm NOT holidaying... everyday i have some sad ass survey for college and its kills... esp when i know i can sleep in... but yeah if i finish it now then less work when my teacher comes back,
third i dont think im goin for the show tom... but i would love to go for the one on sunday... but lets see... wht about u?? btw u a rock fan?? or jus a music lover?

yeah i am a rock fan too...but mostly classic/vintage/retro stuff....stones,led zep and the likes...love sabbath,aerosmith too..
dont listen to much of the contemporary stuff....save a track here n there...audioslave,seether,staind,vertical horizon...etc
but nowadays its more of coldplay and travis...
but i wanna hear more of indian rock now...jus discovered 'parikrama' recently...liked a coupla tracks....so wanna hear them live
so here i am ,with the tickets to the saarang rock show...lookin forward to sunday.
how about u ?...totally into it or what?..either way i think u shuldnt be missing the show
well im a music fan... not band or genres... and im more into the contemporary stuff... but am open to anything except house....
and yeah i have not purchased tickets for either of the shows... me and my procrastination... but i think a friend has extra tickets so i 'should' be there
