yeaterday finished reading chetan bagats 'five point someone'... its about life at iit.. no it does not tell life at iit rocks. or that its the 'greatest institution' in the country. what it does talk about is that life without friends sucks. you need them to bunk classes, college, cheat, eat, talk to, listen to, basicallly live life with... i guess that implies to all institutions right?? i mean everyone i know hates college, life..blah.. friends are the only reason that many of us continue..
stella maris was another 'esteemed institution' where i finished my bachelors.. two weeks into the college i was in depression. lost weight. hated college. threw attitude. then slowly i made friends on a common ground that we all hated college. soon we realised that we had more in common than mere hatred for the college.. i cant even recall the countless times we have given each other attandance, bunked classes, bunked the culturals.. the damn combined studying, hanging out at gangotree, bitched about the lovely 'sisters' of our college .... and that was four years back.. now we have all moved onto various courses. they mean the world to me.. and we still keep in touch.
this is for you apu, vysh, tika, zayn, simi;), and the countless others who helped me live through that nightmare.. thank you.

yeah read the whole book in class last sem keepin it under the bench!...its a good one...(chetans next book isnt that good though..the call center thing!)
anyways....
as i realised this sem....since i am almost thru with college....that the whole experience is about people,not the place....
my college sucked bigtime....was a hell hole compared to what i expected...but the people made all the difference....
college is a place where u learn bout life and people not books...
its gonna reamain the same for eternity....
40-50 yrs from now ...we're gonna remember the people...only!
bravo babe!!! now i do know why ppl say we think alike .... friends r truly the reason for our existence....i can recollect a million moments spent wit u on those last 'reserved' seats early in the mornin wit no words exchanged.... but the same thoughts runnin-' why us?? whn is weekend comin??' all 3 yrs i knew tht the mistake of joinin coll had got me only a priceless bunch of friends...and cos we met at such an odd phase i know, no matter wht, we'll last forever.... forever will be tag team duo

if not for you guys, GOD! because i cant think of a single other good thing i gained out of going to that college for 3 whole years.but i became a lot more confident abt wanting to do design.that kind of stuff...
