most people (atleast the ones i have to interact with on a daily basis) donot understand the concept of 'space'. lets not break it down to definitions... but why do people feel the need to be connected 24/7?? if i donot call/ sms/ mail you in the last one hour does it mean i dont give a shit for you? or is it that constant contact with other people makes you less aware of the meaningless existence that you lead? i really do not understand such people. sometimes they suffocate you so much you start to feel like your in a damn relationship. when you are not! 'no', 'fuck off', 'back off'.. are words unheard of. hence the constant need to meet for coffee, chai, juice, lunch, dinner.. wherever, whenever, whatever! maybe i require more space than the average person.. or so it would seem when compared to the people in my life. but i cannot meet people on a regular basis. (especially if i cannot relate to them) once a week and after that my patience starts to wear thin. a sample telephone conversation/sms always starts with 'sup? so.. when we meeting up?' if you do tell them that you have a life beyond them, then apparently you are 'putting up your price'. i have tried to tell them to fuck off.. but like said its not a word that is understood.. you donot have to be a rocket scientist to understand that do you?! but when we do meet, there is no conversation, because i honestly donot give a shit.. and cannot be bothered to be nice or social.
*sigh*.

yeah...some people can be clingy sometimes...but then...from their side..maybe they're too bored and wanna meet...?!??
as for the space isue...i think their NEED to be connected makes them overlook your space issues...plus not everyone can read ur mind right??? :)
but again..forget the people who you cant relate to....even the people u know...with all the bluddy cell phones and chattin, smses,(blogs!) etc etc...when u drag ur ass to meet up...theres hardly anything LEFT to say...thats what makes it even worse and boring.the oddness of it all.
i actually feel better when i cut myself off (like jyoey was sayin) for sometime and then re emerge..atleast i have something to say!
@ sreicanth: its not a question of something to say.. its more about comfy silences.. if i dont like people i cant meet up wiht them even for the ehck of it.. but me cant people fuck off to their face also... (wish i could tho)
and i live to cut myself off for most part of the time..
@ shishya: good point about using the presence bit.. think that is what is happening.. and here i thought i was popular and all..lol..
